Christmas Story

I have this wonderful Christmas story that I heard on the news this morning. Last night before I went to bed, a news alert came on about this little Amish girl 3 years old had fallen out of the back of the buggy and the parents didn't know until they got home. Everybody in the area went looking for her and couldn't find her. It got down to 14 degrees last night. This morning a lady on her way to work saw the little girl huddled down in a ditch with nothing on but a sweater. She said her face was still warm. Now tell me there is no God!!!!

My Thanksgiving Travel

Well, I am back from our pilgrimage to Ms. I couldn't believe the difference in the temperature from Mo. to Ms. As you can see further on down, they still have flowers growing, and all we have is dead stems from the flowers that have died. All in all it was a nice trip. It did rain on us ALL the way home on Saturday. I got to go shopping on Black Friday at a brand new mall in Madison, Ms. where we stayed. I was very surprised to find that there wasn't but a handful of people out shopping. Maybe it was the nasty weather, or maybe it was the economy, I'm not sure. Or maybe it was because everything I picked up was over $100.00!! We are cutting back a lot this Christmas, as are many other people I've talked to. I have gotten a lot of mine done, with the exception of my daughter, who isn't going to get anything if she doesn't call her mother!!!
