The First Snow of 2010

This morning I look out my window and see the hand of God.

Better Day

Just when you think that ice is such a pain, you look outside and see the beauty and God's hand in it when the sun shines on it. Things are better this morning, cars are going by, so the roads are at least passable. It is still snowing alittle, but that's nothing after ice. At least we haven't lost power like so many people south of here. Last count 200,000 homes without power. I feel very fortunate.

Ice Storm

I woke up this morning to ice stuck on everything!! I didn't even go to work because I knew that no one would want to get out in this. All the grandkids came over and brought their sleds. The ice sure makes a fast track! The grown up boys all played frizbee golf while it was raining down ice. Some guys just never grow up. If you look close at Jeff's beard, he has ice in it.
